It varies depending on which Biocidin formula you choose. Here are some general guidelines:
Biocidin® Liquid: Begin with just one drop per day. Gradually increase up to 7 drops twice per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Place drops directly into the mouth or onto the tongue. Take on an empty stomach for best results.
Biocidin® Capsules: Take one capsule per day and gradually increase to one capsule twice daily or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. May be taken on an empty stomach or with a small meal.
Biocidin® LSF: Start with one pump per day and gradually increase to three times per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Hold under the tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. Best taken on an empty stomach 10 minutes before meals. May be added to water.
Biocidin® Gummies: Begin with half a gummy or one gummy and gradually increase to two gummies per day or as directed by your healthcare practitioner. Can be taken with or without food.
Dentalcidin® Oral Microbiome Toothpaste: Brush with Dentalcidin® 2–3 times per day. For maximum results, use in combination with Dentalcidin LS liposomal rinse.
Dentalcidin® LS Liposomal Oral Rinse: Swish with two pumps for 1–2 minutes, then spit. Use 2–3 times daily, after brushing with Dentalcidin® toothpaste and flossing.
Biocidin® TS Throat Spray: Spray three times toward the back of the throat and swallow as needed, or as directed by your healthcare professional.
Most Biocidin® formulas are shelf-stable and don’t require refrigeration.
However, we do recommend refrigerating Biocidin® LSF. The liposomal formula contains oil-based components that may degrade faster at room temperature. While not mandatory, refrigeration after opening can help extend shelf life.
Yes! Probiotics such as Proflora®4R are often recommended during Biofilm Overgrowth protocols. They help replenish your microbiome with beneficial flora to help crowd out unwanted organisms.
The Biocidin18™ Botanical Blend pairs extremely well with G.I. Detox+®, our binder. Biocidin® dismantles biofilms and helps remove unwanted microbes. G.I. Detox+ then steps in to “mop up” waste and toxic byproducts released by dying microorganisms.*
